‘New Beginnings’ was an Art Awards Scheme Exhibition organised by the Women’s Support Centre (Surrey), to encourage prisoners from HMP Downview, Send and Bronzefield to express themselves through art.
The Women’s Support Centre is based in Woking and provides support to women across Surrey who are in contact with the Criminal Justice System and also to those who are vulnerable and in need of help. Most of the artwork will be available for sale with proceeds going towards supporting the ongoing work of the Centre.
This show was launched at The Lighbox in Woking and after Otters Pool Studio continued its tour around Surrey to raise awareness of the Centre.
